Exciting young boar that we will get a chance here at SAVAGE. He comes from a very good litter and his mother is proving herself to have as much genetic punch as any we have. For starters, “CHIPPEWA” is a littermate to the very popular boar, “INDIAN FEATHER” which was named Champion and Top Selling Boar at the ‘25 Winter Type Conference in Perry, GA and stands at Shaffer’s GOLDRUSH.  “FEATHER” is one of our favorite boars we’ve produced to date and we’ll continue to make him be a vital part of our breeding strategy at SAVAGE. Although these two boars will garner all the attention, the most impressive thing in the litter might be the mate sisters here at SAVAGE. We offered one gilt as part of our “Fab 5 Females” last fall that sold to Robby Harkey, TX. for $3500.  The mother of this litter is 255-4, better known as “MINDI” or SMOKE SIGNAL’S sister.  

“CHIPPEWA” is the power hog of the litter. He offers mass, width, the extra density with all the extra features in his skull and bones. He’s moderate in terms of frame and proportions when compared to most.
He is stout skulled, wide eyed, has as much spread up high and at the ground as any we’ve raised. He’s NOT for everyone and we understand that, “INDIAN FEATHER” is a much safe choice for the masses and we definitely encourage you to get as many bred to him when making better Hampshire’s. However,  if extreme changes are needed to you herd we have the option for you. “Chip” comes from a great litter sired by END ZONE at Purple Power and his mother is our best RUMBLE daughter, “MINDI” .
