ACCESSIBILITY comes from one of the most consistent litters of Duroc boars we’ve seen in recent years. From the start, he separated himself by offering a touch more presence than his mates, paired with that dark chocolate color and dense, heavy hair that is so valuable in today’s show ring.

Much like his sire LIMITED ACCESS—who was utilized heavily at SAVAGE last year—we strongly believe ACCESSIBILITY needs to be used on multiple sows that require added power. One of the most intriguing aspects of his siring potential is the sheer depth and variety of breeders, sires, and influential sow families represented throughout his pedigree.

It’s easy to fall in love with the fitted, sale-day boars prepared for a single moment. However, when you can walk into a pen of breeding stock on a self-feeder, with minimal bedding, and still find boars that look like they could walk out and win a show—that’s refreshing. Anyone who knows Jesse also understands his ability to recall and appreciate generations of sow pedigrees. As we sorted through this pen of boars, all he could do was talk—at length—about the key sows stacked into what we now know as ACCESSIBILITY.

There’s no shortage of proven Duroc power in his pedigree, but for those searching for something fresh, ACCESSIBILITY delivers there as well. It starts with his sire LIMITED ACCESS, now standing at Upperhand. LIMITED ACCESS made his way to SAVAGE from our good friend Bryce Bedeker and is sired by the industry-changing LIMITED EDITION, whose dominance across multiple herds speaks for itself during his time at PBG. The added punch comes from his CRY BABY-sired dam—she not only raised LIMITED ACCESS, but is also the dam of “ALL THEY WANT” at Bedeker’s, along with the $45,000 Sweethearts gilt sold to Knauth’s that capped off a big summer by winning the Illinois State Fair.

The bottom side of ACCESSIBILITY’s pedigree is where Jesse’s excitement truly lives. That’s where you’ll find 314-7, the CREED sow. Like many influential red boars emerging from the HHMX program, this pedigree traces back to the potent Brake Lights sow—with one notable exception. Rather than stacking multiple shots of Last Drop or a direct hit of Statement Day, this time it’s a CREED daughter that originated as one of Max’s early show gilts, earning a bred-and-owned banner and at the Missouri State Fair. That distinction offers breeding-minded producers something different—fresh sow power with added production potential when needed.

Every great generating boar is built on multiple generations of elite sows. ACCESSIBILITY checks that box in a big way. Take advantage of using him during a time when we’re not breeding—he is available, and you truly have ACCESSIBILITY.

From a phenotypic standpoint, ACCESSIBILITY demands attention as soon as you approach his pen. He stands square on all four corners, is exceptional through his knee, and carries a big, bold chest. He’s tall shouldered, wide bladed, and possesses tremendous rib shape. His elevation gives him a special look from a design standpoint. While moderate in body length, he is long through his hip, heavy boned, clean jointed, and as loose through his hip and hind leg as any boar we’ve worked with.

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIS DENSITY, THICK WAVES OF DARK HAIR, AND OVERALL EXTRA SPREAD.
